The new year so far...
...has actually been really good. Idk if it's just the optimism but this year's actually been fairly awesome up to now. Saying that, I was completely and utterly taken aback by Oxbridge evening (it made me want to curl up into a ball and die.)

At any rate, my mock exams went pretty well, as far as mock exams go. My real exams (including my scholarship exam), on the other hand, went terribly. Yep. I have never walked out of a physics exam feeling that awful before. Oh well, all I can really do is wait for the results now.

I've been balancing my time better too - I've not been horribly overworked yet. (Yet.)

I have a small, niggling concern that I will be dead by next Monday, however. From Friday through to Sunday night is the David Clover Festival of Singing (for which I am thoroughly unprepared.) This isn't actually that much of a problem because I'm quite relaxed about the whole thing. (I'm not too worried about the performance part. OTL) My only real problem with the idea of David Clover is that fact that I need to have repertoire by memory (which I haven't done because I'm lazy and, as aforementioned, I'm not that bothered by the whole thing.) Ahh well, I'm sure it'll be fine.

And my programme (which isn't a recital programme, because I'm obviously not doing a recital.)

- Far from the Home I Love - Jerry Bock, Fiddler on the Roof.
- Marienw'urmchen - Schumann
- Everyone Sang - Ian Higginson

Yep. For anyone who I've not managed to bore to death, I hope you have a great evening.
